The After Hours star, has revealed he wants no part of the ceremony in the future. The event on Sunday will address the challenges of a music industry hit hard by the pandemic. The Weeknd, who was snubbed, says he will boycott the awards going forward, in a sign of continuing friction with artists.

“I will no longer allow my label to submit my music to the Grammys,” the Weeknd stated.

“We’re all disappointed when anyone is upset,” Harvey Mason Jr., interim chief executive of the Recording Academy said in reply to the statement. “But I will say that we are constantly evolving. And this year, as in past years, we are going to take a hard look at how to improve our awards process, including the nomination review committees.”

What do you think Rap Geekz? Is The Weekend over reacting? Or is he in the right to boycott?

Mo3 funeral was today. May he Rest In Peace.

A rising Dallas rapper signed to EMPIRE, was shot and killed on Nov. 11 while heading northbound on I-35 at Clarendon Drive. The 28-year-old rapper was driving on the freeway when he was approached by a masked Black man holding a gun, who was believed to be driving the Chevy Camaro. Mo3 exited his car and began running down the highway in the opposite direction. The rhymer was shot several times before the suspect fled the scene. Mo3 was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

Mo3 owned all his masters and publishing according to his manager so his family and kids will get the royalties from his music.

“FROM HIP HOP TO THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES!!!” he wrote. “Thank you MESOPOTAMIA!!! It is with the greatest humility that I accept this victory for us! We won today! This victory is for all those who are just like me in Mesopotamia, Belize and the world over! All those who have taken a fall! All those who have stumbled on their life’s journey.”

He added, “We all fall! But to get up and walk, run and rise again is the purpose of life! We are all destined to be challenged but we are all capable of overcoming those challenges! My story is testament of human fortitude! We all have what I have! We just have to dig deep within and find it! I hope I inspire everyone to overcome their adversities and find their greatness!”

“Um, I’m off Shady,” he says matter-of-factly. “I’m off Shady. I’m actually a free agent. It feels great. Who Made The Sunshine was it. I already spoke to Paul [Rosenberg]. Everything’s good. Like, everything’s signed, sealed and delivered I have my paperwork, like I’m off Shady.

“I’m one of those type of dudes I’m not no public talkin’ n-gga. That’s just how I move. It’s like sayin’ me and Benny or me and Conway or Conway and Benny or whoever, we might have a disagreement, but the world will never know. We still gonna be brothers and cousins. It’s the same way even with business, because at the end of the day, this a big world. Even if somebody else is a sucka, I’m never gonna play that sucka role.”

Westside has already announced his next mixtape Sincerely Adolf,  which serves as the eighth entry in his Hitler Wears Hermès series.

Lil Pump got the bag to endorse Trump, and wasn't even registered vote the whole time. Some say he did it because his career was dying. That it was all just a publicity stunt in hopes for him to get “clout” again. How do y'all feel about this Rap Geekz?

In Mariah Carey's new memoir, the singer explains how she felt trapped by her relationship with Tommy Mottola. Carey recounts her ex-husband Tommy Mottola’s constant surveillance, controlling nature, and “unpredictable” rage. She writes that he held a butter knife to her face in front of a group of guests at their home. Talk about toxic!!!!!
